AaB-profile Mathias Jorgensen was understandably very upset when the Aalborg side were humiliated in Silkeborg through a 4-0 scoreline in the Danish Superliga playoffs.

"Notthing worked in the first half. We got slapped around."

"It wasn't fun. It was embarrassing. We play for a huge football club, and then we run around like a bunch of little league players, and there's no room for that in in our situation"

"If we don't show up on a day like today, it's going to be difficult, and we were completely outplayed in the first 45 minutes", said Mathias Jorgensen to Viaplay.

This is the second time that AaB has been dealt a huge defeat in the relegation play-offs. In the first match they lost 1-4 to Viborg.

It was not something that should happen again, said Jorgensen

"We talked after the Viborg match that there was no room for more of these experiences, and then we deliver something like this again, and it pisses me off", said Jorgensen.

AaB will face Sonderjyske in a crucial relegation battle on Sunday.

Chances are you’re about to lose.
