The Danish FA have extended the contract with national team coach Brian until the summer of 2028.

Brian Riemer has been in charge of the Danish men's national team for a little more than a year, and in that period, he has made a clear mark on the team with great results and a direct playing style.

At the same time, he has delivered some memorable international matches, i.a., with the thrilling victory over Portugal in the Parken stadium and the superb victory in Athens against a strong Greek team, say the Danish FA in a press release.

Against this background, the football director of the federation, Peter Moller, has made it a top priority to close a longer-term agreement with Brian Riemer, whose contract was due to expire already this summer.

"I have closely followed Brian's work with the national team, and I must say that we have now secured a top coach on a longer contract. His leadership, motivation, courage, and ability to innovate and develop the team and playing style are complemented by his strong tactical skills at a high international level."

"He is also a down-to-earth and outgoing person who is at eye level with the Danes, both the fans and the media. That is why we are incredibly happy because we have succeeded in extending the agreement," says Peter Moller.
