Chelsea keeper Filip Jorgensen is to undergo a scan to determine the severity of a groin injury which could make his inclusion in the Danish quad for the upcoming World Cup qualifying playoffs questionable.

"With Filip Jorgensen, he felt something in his groin after the PSG game. We are getting him scanned to find out the full extent of that injury", says Chelsea coach Liam Rosenior to the club website.

Filip Jorgensen's potentially serious injury is a further blow to the preparations for Danish national team coach Brian Riemer, who has already seen Kasper Schmeichel make himself unavailable for the World Cup qualifying playoff matches due to a shoulder injury.

Brian Riemer will announce his squad for the World Cup qualifying playoff matches on Tuesday.
