It is getting to the business end of things in Cincinnati this evening as the men's tournament arrives at the quarter-final stage, while the last of the women aim to book their spot in the last eight.

04:15 CET - Terence Atmane's incredible run in Cincinnati continues as he takes out world number nine Holger Rune 6-2, 6-3. The Frenchman converted 83% of his first serve points as he stuns the Dane and progresses to the last four.

02:40 CET - Veronika Kudermetova marches on in Cincinnati as she defeats Magda Linette 6-4, 6-3 to make the quarter-finals.

00:55 CET - It is a quarter-final appearance for Toronto champion Ben Shelton as he takes down Jiri Lehecka 6-4, 6-4 in two tight sets. The world number six won 85% of his net points as he continues his excellent form in Cincinnati.

23:07 CET - French qualifier and world number 103 Varvara Gracheva continues her incredible run in Cincinnati, battling back from a set down to claim a 2-6, 6-1, 6-1 win over fellow qualifier Ella Seidel, sealing her spot in a maiden WTA 1000 quarter-final.

22:24 CET - That was utterly imperious from the world number one, Jannik Sinner. The Italian was at his relentless, dismissive best as he annihilated a struggling Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-0, 6-2 in around an hour and 10 minutes to move into the Cincinnati semi-finals.

The Canadian won just nine points in the first set and didnt have a single game point, and his first winner came in the second game of the second set. As good as Sinner was, Auger-Aliassime didn't put up much of a fight.

But it is another scary performance from the defending champion. Can anyone stop him on the hard courts, where he is on a 25 match winning streak?

20:28 CET - Jasmine Paolini has moved swiftly into the quarter-finals in Cincinnati after a crushing 6-1, 6-2 victory over an ailing Barbora Krejcikova.

18:35 CET - World number two Coco Gauff is the first winner of the day after swatting aside Lucia Bronzetti in really impressive fashion, 6-2, 6-4. Despite having three days off, the American showed no sign of sloppiness, and she will hope that she is hitting top form just at the right time ahead of the US Open.

17:10 CET - Coco Gauff and Lucia Bronzetti have got the WTA last 16 clash underway at Cincinnati as a big evening of action begins.

15:00 CET - Hello and welcome back to action from Cincinnati, where the action is just two hours away.

And the day begins with two of the very best as world number one Jannik Sinner and world number two Coco Gauff in action. Sinner takes on a resurgent Felix Auger-Aliassime in what promises to be the biggest test of the Wimbledon champion's Cincinnati journey so far at 21:00 CET.

Gauff, meanwhile, faces Lucia Bronzetti at 17:00 CET as the American looks to continue to rebuild her confidence after a shock setback in Montreal.
