It's the men's showpiece event in Florida today, as second seed Jannik Sinner comes up against surprise finalist Jiri Lehecka, with the Italian looking to follow in the footsteps of Aryna Sabalenka and complete the Sunshine Double.

Read an in-depth preview of the final here!

21:47 CET - The rain has now stopped and the court is being dried. If the weather plays ball, the match will begin at 22:15 CET.

21:15 CET - With the rain continuing to fall, the match has been delayed again, with it now starting in 30 minutes at the very earliest.

So much for the Sunshine State!

20:55 CET - There's been a delay to the final, with rain meaning it now won't start before 21:15 CET.

18:43 CET - As for Jiri Lehecka, the Czech has already secured his best-ever Masters result by reaching the final, and is subsequently set to rise to a career-high ranking on Monday.

He produced a statement performance to beat sixth seed Taylor Fritz in the fourth round, before dismantling the supremely talented Arthur Fils in the semi-finals.

Notably, the 24-year-old is yet to lose his serve all tournament, so he'll need to continue that dominance behind his first delivery to stand any chance against his Italian opponent tonight.

17:38 CET - Jannik Sinner has been at his clinical best throughout the tournament, sweeping aside the likes of Alexander Zverev, Frances Tiafoe and Alex Michelsen en route to the final - all without dropping a set.

In fact, the Italian is on a truly remarkable run at Masters level, winning 16 consecutive matches in straight sets, claiming titles in Paris and Indian Wells in the process.

He is now just one victory away from becoming the first men's player since Roger Federer in 2017 to win the Sunshine Double.

An achievement that would further cement his reputation as the dominant force in hard-court men's tennis.

16:00 CET - Good afternoon and welcome to our coverage of today's men's final at the Miami Open, as the imperious Jannik Sinner takes on Czechia's Jiri Lehecka for the highly-coveted Masters 1000 title.

World number two and 2024 champion Sinner is the overwhelming favourite ahead of the clash, with the Italian on a 16-match winning streak at Masters level, and just one victory away from completing a historic Sunshine Double.

Standing in his way is 21st seed Lehecka, who has overcome an inconsistent start to 2026 to rediscover his best form in Florida, reaching a first-ever final at the Masters 1000 level.

We'll take a closer look at both players' routes to the final over the next few hours, so stay tuned ahead of the showpiece event at 21:00 CET.
