The first round action continues at the Australian Open this Monday, with more title favourites beginning their campaigns for glory in Melbourne.

07:40 CET - Good morning and welcome back to Tennis Tracker this Monday morning, and after a really entertaining first day, the action motors on at the Australian Open today!

Let's catch you up with some of the results overnight before we look ahead to the rest of the day. Daniil Medvedev, Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova, Tommy Paul, Alex de Minaur, Andrey Rublev and Karolina Muchova all progressed comfortably into the second round.

However, there was no such luck for Felix Auger-Aliassime and Emma Navarro. The former was forced to retire from his match with Nuno Borges due to cramp, while the latter suffered a 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 defeat to Magda Linette.

Former Grand Slam champions Stanislas Wawrinka and Marin Cilic are currently on court, as well as young starlets Victoria Mboko and Iva Jovic.

The night session begins at 09:00 CET, with world number two Iga Swiatek beginning her quest to complete the Career Grand Slam against qualifier Yue Yuan on Rod Laver Arena, followed by the greatest men's player of all time, Novak Djokovic. The 24-time Grand Slam champion gets his campaign off and running against Spaniard Pedro Martinez.

On Margaret Court Arena, 18-year-old Mirra Andreeva has a potentially tricky clash with Donna Vekic, before 12th seed Casper Ruud takes on Mattia Bellucci.
