15:35 CET - Before the women's final, we had the men's doubles final, and it is home delight with British fifth seeds Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool seeing off Rinky Hijikata and David Pel 6-2, 7-6(3).

15:16 CET - It hasn't been the easiest run to her first grand slam final for Amanda Anisimova.

She has had to battle past the world number one Aryna Sabalenka, amongst others, to make it into today's showpiece.

Can she go all the way from 17:00 CET?

13:34 CET - Eighth seed and five-time major champion Iga Swiatek has enjoyed the best grass-court season of her career to date, dropping just a single set en route to today's showpiece.

Having reached her maiden final on the surface last month in Bad Homburg, the Pole has continued her superb form at the All England Club, seeing off the likes of Belinda Bencic, Liudmila Samsonova and Danielle Collins in emphatic fashion.

Swiatek will certainly fancy her chances of claiming a first Wimbledon crown this afternoon, as she looks to extend her 100% winning record in Grand Slam finals.
